“When I caught up with Price by phone today, he said the rendering, created by his development partner, architect Robert Corna, was ‘a quick concept to get something in the paper’ and that he has no intention of building anything like it.
He said his ambition is to use a Cleveland architect to design the building, and that it was ‘not a foregone conclusion’ that the designer would be Corna.
He said, ‘we want to really make this a local Cleveland project. There’s a number of high profile firms of Cleveland’ that might be eligible.

Encouraging news. Next step is to convince K&D of the advantages of having an open design competition for this building – even if it must be separated into multiple phases.

how does one launch a design competition and how does one convince K&D that this is a good idea. Yes the emails have been flying… your thoughts?
